Dear Pastor,
Thank you for taking the time to learn
about the ministry that God has called us to.
Saved at the age of ten, I became a bus
kid. Through growing in God’s word and obeying His calling I
myself serve as a Bus Captain in our home church. Things are
different now; the Lord has called us to fulltime service in
the area of missions.
My family and I have a burden for the
Spanish speaking people of the U.S. It is our hearts desire
to see them evangelized and discipled. The ministry that God
has for us is unique in that we are called to these people
and desire to reach them through the local church ministry.
Our vision is to assist established independent Baptist
churches in beginning Spanish ministries of their own.
While spending time at language school
in Cuernavaca, MX God confirmed our call to the Spanish
people. During that time I was able to attend services at
Dr. Mike Patterson’s church and had many opportunities to
witness and participate in the church’s outreach and
visitation.
Since this time I have been able to
start a Spanish ministry in our home church. It is now two
years old and we have turned it over to a Columbian preacher
who has been called to pastor.
These are a people deceived by religious
tradition and misconception, but also open to the truth of
the Gospel.
These are a people looking for a better
life. Our vision is to show them a better life in Jesus
Christ.
